Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lazy Bastard (ranked 707 p4p, 90 weight class) and Tomoe Gozen (ranked 1202 p4p, 149 weight class). Lazy Bastard has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Bastard!

It looks like Tomoe Gozen has been cut.
Bastard has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rabid Dog in the buildup to the fight.
Lazy Bastard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gozen stuns Bastard with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Gozen throws an overhand right that lands on Bastard's shoulder, as Bastard tries to avoid the shot.

Gozen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bastard has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Gozen counters with a crisp right hand that drops Bastard! Gozen lets Bastard back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Gozen cracks Bastard on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Bastard falls backwards against the cage. Gozen follows up with more strikes that drop Bastard to his knees. Gozen keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Bastard! This one is all over!
