This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 0 losses; Bong Ji Woo! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 0 losses; Koryu Miyagi!

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Ji Woo shoots in looking for a takedown but Miyagi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ji Woo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ji Woo shoots in for a double leg but Miyagi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Miyagi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
