The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Watts circles away.
Danis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Watts stands up from Danis's guard - Watts perhaps looking for a knockout.
Danis fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Watts is working the combinations to good effect here.

Danis decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Watts has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Danis is on him like a limpet, forcing Watts back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
