Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Corsair Light (ranked 4183 p4p, 367 weight class) and Ryan Sampson (ranked 3121 p4p, 298 weight class). Ryan Sampson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Sampson.
Ryan Sampson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Light shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sampson's guard.

Light seems to be looking for submissions.

Light is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sampson defends it well.
