Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Exeudo Oni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Van Der Veer Jr!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Der Veer Jr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Oni as he jumps to the side.
Oni throws a low kick but it's checked well by Der Veer Jr.
Oni tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Der Veer Jr was well out of range. Poor timing from Oni.
Oni scores with a takedown into Der Veer Jr's guard.
Der Veer Jr is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Oni is controlling him.
Oni controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Oni stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Der Veer Jr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Der Veer Jr wants to stand but Oni is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oni controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Der Veer Jr wants to stand and escape but Oni is having none of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A big right from Oni misses.
Der Veer Jr is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Der Veer Jr shoots in looking for a takedown but Oni manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Der Veer Jr's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Oni, as that shot connected.
Oni fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Der Veer Jr is out of range.
Oni definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Der Veer Jr.
Exeudo Oni has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Van Der Veer Jr.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Oni throws out a leg kick but Der Veer Jr moves out of range and Oni only half commits.
Oni cracks Der Veer Jr with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Van Der Veer Jr has been cut.
Oni feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Der Veer Jr sprawling to the canvas! Der Veer Jr rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Oni finish him?!
Der Veer Jr is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oni shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Oni slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Oni lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Exeudo Oni!
