The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haynes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mongrel throws a body shot but no joy.

Haynes drives through and clinches with Mongrel against the cage.
Mongrel keeps control of Haynes as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Mongrel tries to throw a body punch but Haynes avoids it by throwing Mongrel back against the cage.
Mongrel on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Haynes tries to pull guard but Mongrel won't allow it.
Mongrel throws a punch but it's blocked by Haynes.
Haynes definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Haynes goes for a double leg but Mongrel avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mongrel continues to drive forward.
Haynes sets himself, and Mongrel steps forward looking for the clinch! Haynes avoids it this time.

Oh Haynes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Haynes seems to have got his legs back now.
A nice right hand lands inside from Mongrel.
Mongrel dips a shoulder and cracks Haynes with a mighty uppercut! Haynes falls back against the cage and Mongrel unloads with a barrage of strikes! Haynes is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Mongrel screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
