The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dweller misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Diaz counters with a straight right hand.
Dweller tries to move into range but Diaz moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Diaz fails to land with a series of punches.

Dweller fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Diaz sprawls well initially but Dweller persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dweller working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Diaz can do anything to dispel that myth.

Diaz tries to kick Dweller off but Dweller keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dweller in particular looking to stall.
Diaz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dweller is working away from the top position though.
