Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Justice Carter (ranked 23830 p4p, 667 weight class) and Ben Stone (ranked 5014 p4p, 514 weight class). Ben Stone told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone takes a swing at Carter's ribcage but misses.
Carter throws a sloppy head kick and Stone moves out of range easily.
Stone ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Carter moves away.
We've been told by Carter's head coaches at The Forge that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Carter moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Carter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stone takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Carter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Carter lets loose with a powerful body kick. Stone will feel that in the morning.

Carter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Carter fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Stone has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Carter's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stone connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Carter scrambles back to his feet.

Despite the aggression on Stone's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Stone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Carter but Carter pushes him off and we're back to square one.
