Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Kurt Angular (ranked 5865 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgy Brah (ranked 3524 p4p, 135 weight class). In the red corner, competing out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Kurt Angular! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Edgy Brah!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Angular clinches up against the cage.

Brah ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Brah no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Angular drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Angular jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Angular is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Angular not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Angular seems to be working for a kimura but Brah defends the submission attempt.

Angular looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Angular wants to take a breather but Brah is having none of it.

Brah felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Angular could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Brah is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Brah can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Angular controls the pace.

Angular perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Brah won't allow Angular to pass to mount.
Angular is keen to just control but Brah is a slippery customer.
Brah is looking for a sweep. Angular is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Brah wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Angular has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Brah's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Brah is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Angular!
