Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ludo Van Veen (ranked 807 p4p, 117 weight class) and Ram Rocker (ranked 534 p4p, 82 weight class). Van Veen comes to the cage accompanied by Give it ALL. Rocker is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by For Heavy Metal we will die!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ram Rocker!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Veen tests Rocker's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Van Veen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A big left from Van Veen misses.
Van Veen has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Rocker checks the leg kick nicely there.
Rocker tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Rocker lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Van Veen can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Rocker and Van Veen drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Rocker.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ram Rocker!
Ram Rocker decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
