Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zaga Zillionaire (ranked 5138 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Popeye (ranked 5815 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zaga Zillionaire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Popeye is defended easily by Zillionaire.
Popeye has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Zillionaire finds it's way round the side to connect with Popeye's head.

Popeye closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Popeye has his foot on Zillionaire's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zillionaire works his way back into a safe position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Zillionaire has control of Popeye's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Popeye regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zaga Zillionaire.
