The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilton tries to land a front kick but Erikson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Erikson throws a big counter head kick but Wilton avoids it with no problem.

Wilton closes the distance and pushes Erikson back into the cage.
Erikson throws a punch but it's blocked by Wilton.
Erikson jumps guard but Wilton turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Erikson struggles to land a body shot inside as Wilton controls his hands.
Erikson tries to break the clinch but Wilton is controlling the position.
A frustrated look appears on Erikson's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Wilton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Wilton closes the distance and pushes Erikson back into the cage.
Erikson wants to stall.

Wilton pulls Erikson into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wilton wants to sweep here but Erikson controlling him for the moment.
Wilton manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Erikson manages to get himself to full guard.

Wilton lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Wilton passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Erikson!

Erikson tries to improve his position but Wilton has taken his back! Wilton has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Erikson tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Wilton pushes Erikson away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
