Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Reece Foy (ranked 2756 p4p, 328 weight class) and Dom Walsh (ranked 2806 p4p, 334 weight class). Dom Walsh is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Reece Foy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dom Walsh!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walsh looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Foy.

Foy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Walsh sprawls well initially but Foy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Foy looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Foy working Walsh over with strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Foy prevents Walsh from improving his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Foy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Walsh tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Walsh manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Foy manages to get himself to full guard.

Foy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Foy thows a huge punch but Walsh dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walsh wants to get back to full guard.

Foy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Walsh is looking to control Foy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Walsh avoid being mounted?
Foy drops an elbow to the side of Walsh's head.
Foy prevents Walsh from standing back up.
Foy looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Foy is looking for a kimura here.
Walsh wants to improve his position but Foy is controlling well.

Foy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Walsh defends it well.
Walsh is staying active underneath Foy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Walsh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Foy is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Walsh sees it coming and defends easily.
Walsh is looking to control Foy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Walsh avoid being mounted?

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Walsh is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Foy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Foy's back!
Walsh throws strikes from the back but Foy rolls nicely and manages to end up in full guard. Nice work by Foy.
Walsh wants to control from the top but Foy keeps moving.

Walsh looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Foy looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Walsh!

Walsh is pushing Foy's head away, looking to escape. Foy manages to hold on to the position though.
Walsh manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Foy is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Walsh has managed to free his arm - good work.
Foy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Walsh can do to turn this around?

Foy is stalling here. Walsh is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Foy seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Walsh has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Walsh stands up and beckons Foy to his feet.
Walsh cracks the inside of Foy's front leg.
Foy walks into a straight right hand from Walsh.
Foy leaves Walsh with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Foy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Foy misses with a wild body shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Walsh is defended easily by Foy.
Reece Foy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dom Walsh.
Walsh is looking to score with low kicks.

Foy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Walsh to the mat! Walsh manages to get full guard.

Foy wants to control from the top but Walsh keeps moving.
Foy is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Walsh wants to sweep but no luck.

Walsh is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Foy defends well.
Walsh has momentary wrist control but Foy slips an elbow through the middle.

Foy not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Foy keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Walsh's head.

Foy postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Walsh is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Foy, into his guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Foy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Walsh is in close to Foy's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close second round but I would say that Reece Foy will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Foy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Walsh manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Foy has Walsh in his guard.

Foy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Walsh throws a big elbow that misses.

Walsh postures up in Foy's guard and throws a big left but Foy blocks it.
Foy wants to sweep but no luck.
Walsh in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Walsh seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Walsh accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Walsh connects with a couple of short punches.
Walsh stands up over Foy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Walsh looks for a takedown but Foy sprawls well.
Foy tries to counter by clinching up but Walsh breaks away and moves out of range.
Foy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walsh is fending him off so far but Foy persists. Nope, Walsh circles away and we're back to standing.
Walsh fails to land with a series of punches.
Dom Walsh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Walsh shoots for a takedown but Foy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Foy went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Reece Foy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Foy closes the distance and pushes Walsh back into the cage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Walsh is trying to break free.
Walsh has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Foy after a bit of a struggle.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Dom Walsh.
I think Foy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
