Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Neves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sting Fire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class).

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neves tries to pull guard but Fire forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

It looks like Bruno Neves has been cut.
Neves jumps guard but Fire turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Neves avoids a wild elbow strike from Fire.
Neves managing to block the knees to the body from Fire.

Neves pulls guard.
Neves is trying to keep Fire in close.
Neves is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Neves looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fire slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Fire must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

I was talking to Neves's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Neves manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fire on his heels. He'll look to pass Fire's guard now, I'm sure.
Neves might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Sting Fire seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Neves wants to get back to striking at distance but Fire won't allow it.

Neves jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fire walks away with a smile on his face. Neves gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Fire steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Neves.

Neves rushes Fire and presses him up against the cage.

Fire tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Fire lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Neves backwards.
Neves tries to score a body lock takedown but Fire shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Neves has Fire pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Neves pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Fire tumbling to the mat - Neves dives into Fire's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neves shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fire manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Neves loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fire holds on and takes a little breather.

Sting Fire showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Neves wants to free his trapped foot but Fire is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Fire is looking for a sweep. Neves is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Neves is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Fire has managed to free his arm - good work.
Neves prevents Fire from improving his position.
Neves is thwarting Fire's attempts to control the position.
Neves is keen to just control but Fire is a slippery customer.
Sting Fire is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Fire is trying is best to control the position here.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Neves trying to mount his opponent but Fire defends it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fire can do anything to dispel that myth.
Neves thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Neves seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fire does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Fire keeping hold of Neves's head, controlling as best he can.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Neves clinches up with Fire and pushes him back against the cage.

Fire misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Neves.

Neves has Fire pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Fire manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Fire tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Neves avoids it.
Fire can't find room to land a body shot as Neves controls the action.

Neves turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Neves manages to end up in side control.
Fire wants to get back to his feet but Neves drags him back down.
You can see the frustration on Fire's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Neves is staying tight to Fire's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Fire explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Neves shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Fire counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Neves throws a leg kick that is checked

and Fire counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Neves is trying to pull guard but Fire has him pressed against the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Fire creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neves has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fire is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Fire tries to land a knee to the head but Neves blocks with his arms.
Bruno Neves has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Sting Fire comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Fire winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
