The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Felipao misses with an uppercut. Xin saw that one coming.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Xin is defended easily by Felipao.
Xin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Felipao as he avoids it easily.
Xin doesn't manage to clinch there - Felipao circles away.
Felipao stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Felipao wants it to stay on the feet.
Tonimateu Felipao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fandi Xin .
Xin connects with the punch.

It looks like Tonimateu Felipao has been cut.
Felipao misses with a straight left.
Felipao slips a jab and a cross from Xin .

Felipao appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Xin rushes Felipao and presses him up against the cage.
Xin trying to control the position but instead, Felipao has worked for underhooks and has pushed Xin into the cage.
Felipao tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Xin tries to pull guard but Felipao won't allow it.
Felipao keeps control of Xin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Felipao has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Xin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Felipao gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Xin regains guard.

Xin pushes Felipao off and scrambles back to his feet.

Felipao shoots in and bounces Xin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Felipao wants to pass the guard but Xin is keeping the position.

Felipao is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Xin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Xin shrugs it off.
Felipao seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Xin is holding on tight.
Xin can't escape the position.
Xin wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Felipao.
Felipao fails to move to back control.

Felipao takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Xin just trying to survive but Felipao is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Xin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Felipao. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
