Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Curley Cal (ranked 4438 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marten Marsimoto (ranked 4580 p4p, 0 weight class). Marsimoto is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Green Berlin. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cal tries for a takedown but Marsimoto circles away easily
and Marsimoto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Curley Cal has been cut.
Cal clinches.
Marsimoto lands an elbow just above Cal 's eye.
Marsimoto with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Marsimoto stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Marsimoto.
Cal jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Marsimoto walks away with a smile on his face. Cal gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Marsimoto has managed to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cal wants to break free but Marsimoto has control.

Marsimoto lands a nice knee to the body.
Cal drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Curley Cal. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Marsimoto makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Cal wants to break the clinch but can't.
Marsimoto lands an elbow inside.
Cal is looking to take this one to the mat.
Still in the clinch, Marsimoto scores with a nice short uppercut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Marsimoto creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Marsimoto pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cal.

Cal fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Marsimoto, pushing him back against the cage.
Marsimoto misses with the head strike.
Cal wants a takedown but no success here.
Cal is breathing heavily.
Cal misses with a hook to the ribs.
Knees in the clinch landing for Marsimoto.
Marsimoto lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Cal backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Marsimoto gets through Cal's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Cal is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Marsimoto gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Marsimoto lands a takedown into guard.
Marsimoto decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cal, up you get!
Cal is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Marsimoto moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marten Marsimoto!
