Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aslan Akishev (ranked 2921 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ferdinand Marquez (ranked 22587 p4p, 0 weight class). Marquez has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Ferdinand Marquez is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akishev fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Marquez sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Akishev lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Marquez backs up against the cage.
Akishev tries to clinch there but Marquez circles away.
Marquez showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Akishev.
Akishev dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Marquez. That did some damage!

Akishev goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Akishev lands a big head kick that sends Marquez tumbling to the mat! Akishev takes a step backwards and waves Marquez back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Akishev tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Marquez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Marquez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Marquez drops his hands momentarily and Akishev needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Marquez just on the top of the head. Marquez drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Marquez - he's done!
