Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maximilian Alexei (ranked 1753 p4p, 228 weight class) and Raate Road (ranked 2287 p4p, 284 weight class). Road has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexei lands a head kick. Road smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Road throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Raate Road seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Road shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Alexei manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Road working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Road stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alexei swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Alexei throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Alexei gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Road shoots in looking for a takedown but Alexei manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Road's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Alexei drops his hands momentarily and Road takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Road thuds his right hand into Alexei's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Road connects with a good right hand that stumbles Alexei. Alexei circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Raate Road dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Road fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Alexei to the ground. Road is now in Alexei's guard.

Road throws an elbow that misses. Alexei uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Road's guard. Nice move by Alexei!

Road is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Raate Road showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Raate Road decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
