And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Markov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Itsaboy was covering up waiting for the punch and Markov finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Itsaboy on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Itsaboy tries to get out of the position.
Itsaboy can't keep his opponent in guard - Markov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Itsaboy has his hands clasped together around Markov's back. He's all about the action.
Markov not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Itsaboy is looking to improve his position.
Markov is nestled in close to Itsaboy, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Markov wants to pass to mount but Itsaboy is defending the position.
Markov not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Itsaboy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Markov sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Itsaboy defending well though.
Markov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Itsaboy's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Markov looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Itsaboy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Markov is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Markov lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Markov throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Itsaboy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Markov on the ground.
Itsaboy is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Markov scores with a couple of nice shots.
Markov tries to pass the half guard into mount. Itsaboy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Markov lands with a punch from half guard.
Markov thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Markov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Itsaboy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Itsaboy is rocked!
Itsaboy is in trouble now - Markov has advanced to mount!
Oh Itsaboy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Markov lands a big shot to the head and Itsaboy winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

A relieved looking Lazar Markov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
