Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Fisler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bud Cona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cona has a takedown stuffed.
Cona misses with a takedown attempt - Fisler sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Cona throws a leg kick but Fisler moved away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cona lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cona has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cona and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Cona is looking to chop away at Fisler's legs.

Fisler drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Fisler is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cona is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Cona is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fisler tries to advance to mount but can't.
Cona is trying to get back to half guard.
Cona is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Fisler off and has taken his back!
Fisler tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Fisler is trying to maintain the position but Cona is very close to passing his half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cona winds up and cracks Fisler with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cona throws a leg kick but Fisler sees it coming and moves out of range.

Cona will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fisler shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cona as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Fisler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cona lands a jab to Fisler's midsection.

Cona wants to land a leg kick but Fisler is out of range.
Cona lunges at Fisler with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fisler's hand.
Cona connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Cona throws a nice looking combination but Fisler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Fisler is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Cona closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fisler circles away.
Cona stuffs the takedown attempt from Fisler. Fisler gets slowly back to his feet.
