Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Swango (ranked 426 p4p, 57 weight class) and Abed Nadir (ranked 818 p4p, 106 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nadir's choice of entrance music: Paul Hertzog - Fight to survive. Abed Nadir acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michael Swango!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abed Nadir!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swango dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Swango misses with a series of wild punches.
Nadir has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Nadir misses with a right hand
and Swango cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Swango fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Swango thumps Nadir with a low kick.
Swango throws a hook but Nadir blocks it.
Nadir tries to counter by closing the distance.
Nadir fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Swango, pushing him back against the cage.
Swango manages to break the clinch.
Nadir will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Abed Nadir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nadir throws a leg kick that is checked
and Swango counters with a straight right hand.
Nadir on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Swango has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Zero Tolerance in the buildup to the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nadir moves in looking to clinch but Swango pushes him off.
Swango lands a jab.
Swango is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nadir.
Nadir misses with a double jab.
Swango scores with the left hand. Nadir knows he should have avoided that one.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nadir attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Swango misses with a double jab
and Nadir counters by moving into the clinch.
Swango breaks the clinch.
Swango on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Nadir. Nadir obviously looking to wear him down.
Nadir gets a clinch.
Swango breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nadir throws an off balance right hand
and Swango counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nadir is rocked!
Swango drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Nadir right on the button. Nadir goes down! Swango follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Swango gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Swango!
Michael Swango bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
