Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Henry The Crab (ranked 481 p4p, 24 weight class) and Glass Joe (ranked 609 p4p, 32 weight class). Joe has chosen La Marseillaise as his entrance music. Henry The Crab is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Henry The Crab!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Glass Joe!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Crab shoots in looking for a takedown. Joe tries to sprawl out of it but The Crab keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Joe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The Crab fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Joe avoids it really well and circles away.
It seemed like Joe was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Joe throws a series of punches but The Crab moves out of range.
Joe slaps away a takedown attempt from The Crab, before circling back to the center of the mat.

The Crab takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The Crab walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Joe's coach down at Punch Out Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Joe's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

The Crab is looking to take a break and control but Joe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The Crab is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Joe is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The Crab goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Joe has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for The Crab but great work by Joe.

The Crab tries to score a power double leg takedown but Joe sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten The Crab somewhat.

Joe throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck The Crab on the side of the head.

The Crab stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Joe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The Crab drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Joe manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now The Crab has Joe in his guard.

Henry The Crab overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The Crab changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Joe tries to avoid it but The Crab manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Joe to the ground. Joe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well Joe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Glass Joe made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Henry The Crab was interviewed post fight and said 'Respect man, respect!'.
