Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Michaels (ranked 4485 p4p, 0 weight class) and Domino Lee (ranked 4448 p4p, 410 weight class). Michaels kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is baby powder. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels misses with a few strikes there.
Lee slaps away a takedown attempt from Michaels, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Michaels moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromLee.
Lee misses with a straight right.
Michaels uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lee.
Michaels tries for a takedown but Lee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Michaels fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Michaels. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Michaels. That did some damage!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A right-left combo lands from Michaels.
Michaels throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Michaels gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lee to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lee controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Michaels's head.
Michaels looking for a sweep. Not yet Michaels, not yet.
Lee forces his way into half guard.
Michaels knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lee on the ground.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lee in particular looking to stall.
Michaels is breathing heavily.
Lee passes the guard and advances to mount!

Lee tries to control but Michaels wriggling away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lee quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Lee but it's paid off an Michaels is forced to tap! Nice work by Lee.
