Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Uriah Chin (ranked 2182 p4p, 119 weight class) and Steven Lurkman (ranked 2924 p4p, 152 weight class). Steven Lurkman will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Uriah Chin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Steven Lurkman!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lurkman fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Chin on the side of the head.

Chin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lurkman throws out the jab.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Uriah Chin.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Uriah Chin decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
