Ayers tries to circle away but Rae has him pinned against the cage.
Rae tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ayers just stands there and leans against the cage.
Ayers wants the takedown. Rae is fighting it off but Ayers persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Rae's guard against the cage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Rae is trying to control the position but Ayers postures up.

Ayers is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Rae has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ayers is looking to defend but Rae has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ayers! Rae pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ayers taps out and this one is all over!
