Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Baz Kimber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bailey Sims! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kimber is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sims sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kimber chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Sims shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kimber napping and manages to drive through into side control! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Kimber is trying to control Sims's posture but Sims avoids it.
Sims stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Kimber gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sims to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kimber trying to keep a closed guard but Sims is proving a slippery customer.
Sims lands a couple of elbows. Kimber will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Sims content to stall in guard here. Kimber not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Sims controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Sims with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Sims controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Sims working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kimber's head. Sims's corner is telling him to maintain position. Sims with a nice head shot there. Sims is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Sims lands a couple of digs.
Sims stands up from guard. Let's bang! Kimber closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sims circles away. Sims tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Kimber clinches up with Sims and pushes him back against the cage. Sims looking for a takedown.

Kimber is breathing heavily. Sims scoring with some ground and pound. Sims makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Kimber is rocked! Sims gets to his feet and stands over Kimber, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Kimber felt that one! Sims unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Kimber from any more punishment!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nova throws a leg kick but Koch checks it. Nova throws a chopping leg kick but Koch manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Nova wants to clinch. Nova stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nova wants it to stay on the feet.
Koch gets a double leg takedown into Nova's guard. Koch forces his way into half guard. Koch is figuring out what he wants to do next. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Koch maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Nova could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Koch has cracked it and Nova is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Koch!

Barakat feints and as Aki raises his hands in defense, Barakat changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Barakat wants to pass the guard but Aki is keeping the position. Aki wants to stand but Barakat is controlling the position.

He's being very persistent here but Aki manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Okimoto tries for a takedown but Cosby circles away easily and Cosby counters with a stiff right hand. Cosby jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Okimoto scoring with punches and elbows. Cosby taking a bit of punishment here - Okimoto scoring with strikes. Cosby is looking to reverse the position. Okimoto lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Cosby down.
