The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scully misses with a body shot.
Scully bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Wobbit throws a shot from downtown. Scully moves away and avoids it.
Wobbit throws a leg kick but Scully checks it.
Scully is looking to counter punch.
Wobbit throws a push kick but Scully slaps the foot to one side.
Scully appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Scully swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Wobbit takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Wobbit tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Scully was well out of range. Poor timing from Wobbit.

Wobbit takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Scully stuffs the takedown attempt from Wobbit. Wobbit gets slowly back to his feet.
Scully was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Wobbit throws a body punch but Scully moves out of range.
Scully was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Scully is looking to wear down Wobbit with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Wobbit ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Scully moves away.

Wobbit tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Scully defends well and Wobbit ends up having to push Scully into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

A looping hook to the body misses from Wobbit. Scully does a little dance to reset his feet.
Scully throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wobbit with the counter takedown but Scully avoids it easily.
Wobbit throws a sloppy body shot
and Scully counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Scully swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Wobbit takes a swing at Scully's ribcage but misses.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Wobbit might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Scully has got the better of the exchanges.

Scully sends Wobbit crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Scully is motioning to the referee to let Wobbit up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

and Scully counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

Trip Scully decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
