With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Errol Paramount! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Giovanni Santos! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paramount looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Good standup being displayed there by Paramount as he connects with a hook. Paramount getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Paramount looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Paramount lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Santos circles away quickly and effectively. Santos looks like he wants to counter punch here. Paramount takes a swing at Santos's ribcage but misses. A chopping leg kick lands by Paramount. Errol Paramount seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Santos tries to clinch but Paramount moves away enabling Paramount to counter with a crisp jab. Paramount lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Paramount looks to land a left hand but Santos moved out of range nicely. Santos slips under a jab from Paramount. Paramount misses with a hook. Santos ducked under it nicely. Paramount with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Santos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Santos takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Paramount is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Paramount misses the body punch and Santos counters with a straight right hand. The fight stays on the outside here - Santos looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Santos closes the distance looking to clinch and Paramount counters with a lovely shot to the body. A combination from Paramount does no damage. Santos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Paramount swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Santos swings and misses with a shot to the body and Paramount counters with a one-two to the body. Paramount wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Paramount throws a good cross that connects.

Good leg kick by Paramount. Paramount looks to land a right hand but Santos moved out of range. As Paramount backs off Santos throws a huge counter combo but Paramount manages to avoid it all.
Santos closes the distance and clinches. Paramount lands on the inside with an uppercut. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Santos in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Haley throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fisher tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Haley is in Fisher's guard.
Haley is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Haley drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Haley seems to have locked his on tight now - Fisher screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Haley, as he picks up the win!

Viana tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bernard sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Viana somewhat. We've been hearing reports that Bernard has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Bernard throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Viana tries for a takedown but Bernard sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bernard throws a right and a left that Viana avoids nicely. Good shot there by Bernard. Bernard is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Bernard moves in close and cracks Viana with a massive right hand! Viana, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Bernard!

After the fight, Asa Bernard was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. Diogo Viana spoke after the fight, saying 'This maybe a lost fight, but is not a lost battle, and not even close to a lose war, I will come back, and soon!'.
