The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Magni Fier has been cut.
Noia lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fier has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lamez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Thibodeaux defends it easily.
Lamez is trying to control the position but Thibodeaux postures up.

Lamez isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Thibodeaux stacks Lamez on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Thibodeaux!

Lamez is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Thibodeaux with him. Thibodeaux is trying to defend but Lamez has an arm under the chin now! Thibodeaux grimaces and is forced to tap out!
