The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tracks throws a nice looking combination but Sterling bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sterling shoots in for a takedown but Tracks shows good takedown defense.
Sterling shoots in but Tracks avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tracks has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Sterling shoots in looking for a takedown but Tracks manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sterling's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Tracks tried to counter with a leg kick but Sterling avoided it.
Sterling has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kenton Tracks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aljamain Sterling.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Schrodinger finds Case's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Case flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Schrodinger lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Case will be OK.

Einstein feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
