BJ Barrett really struggled with his weight cut for this fight. After coming in at 141.3, he had two hours to cut the additional weight. He was unable to do so and as a result, his fight with Chase Buchanan was cancelled.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archer throws a shot to the body.
Spite dives in and grabs Archer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Archer pushes down on Spite's head and hops out.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Spite has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
