The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winh shoots and misses
and Johnson counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Tu Winh has been cut.
Winh has his takedown stuffed
and Johnson counters with a straight right hand.

Johnson closes the distance and pushes Winh back into the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Winh takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Winh's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Johnson dances in with a quick combination. Winh is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Johnson snaps Winh's head back. Winh stumbles backwards against the cage. Johnson steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Winh's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Winh just didn't come prepared.

Anthony Johnson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenway Jr keeps the fight on the outside.
Del Gaiso changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kenway Jr tries to avoid it but Del Gaiso manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kenway Jr to the ground. Kenway Jr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kenway Jr feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
