The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed looks to land a right hand but Sepultra moved out of range.
Apollo Creed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Creed looks to land a combination but Sepultra avoids it well.
Sepultra scores with a nice right hand.
Sepultra could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Creed scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sepultra ducks under a wild hook from Creed.

A little jabbing left from Creed on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Creed bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

The fighters circling - Sepultra throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Creed throws out a counter right but Sepultra avoids it with no problem.

Sepultra wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Creed's coach down at Rivers Edge Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Creed's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Creed pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sepultra swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Creed swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sepultra feints with a jab and clips Creed right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Creed is sent crashing into the canvas and Sepultra leaps in for the kill! Creed tries to get to his feet but Sepultra is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Creed is in need of a savior and steps in!

Nganoo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Takedown defends well.

Nganoo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Takedown defends it easily.

Denton missing with a left hand there. Shek was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Denton misses with an uppercut.
Denton lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shek at a distance.
Shek throws a hook but Denton blocks it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Shek, as that shot connected.

Denton missing with a left hand there. Shek was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Shek swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Shek is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Nice shot lands for Shek.

Denton is aggressively charging in as Shek backs up avoiding any damage. Shek tosses out a jab and Denton runs right into it face first! Denton is out cold! Shek dropped down on all fours and is barking in Denton's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Panda wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Zaire, who protects the arm well.
Zaire is trying to control Panda's posture but Panda avoids it.
Panda tries to move into full mount but can't pass Zaire's legs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Panda trying to control the position but Zaire is working away.
Panda might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Zaire haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
