Gardener changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jam tries to avoid it but Gardener manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jam to the ground. Jam escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ziskie closes the distance and pushes McKay back into the cage.
McKay lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
McKay lands a shoulder strike.

McKay escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

McKay gets in close and instigates a clinch.
McKay lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ziskie backwards.
Ziskie jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as McKay walks away with a smile on his face. Ziskie gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
McKay throws a right hand that misses

and Ziskie counters with a takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ziskie has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McKay really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Ziskie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Ziskie is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Ziskie!
