The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Wells throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Killer shoots for a double leg takedown but Wells sprawls well. He's pushed Killer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kenny Wells is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

It looks like Person Killer has been cut.

Wells lands a big head kick that sends Killer tumbling to the mat! Wells takes a step backwards and waves Killer back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Wells lands a left and a right that send Killer crashing to the mat, dazed. Wells thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Oh Killer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wells misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Wells! Killer is out on his feet! Wells rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Killer is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Killer is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cudi Williams!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davidson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Davidson has a takedown stuffed.
Davidson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Williams finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Williams showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Davidson.
Williams has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Williams tries to close the distance and clinch up but Davidson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Davidson tries to counter by clinching up but Williams breaks away and moves out of range.
Davidson throws a leg kick
and Williams counters with a three punch combo that has Davidson backing up. Davidson nods at Williams to acknowledge the strikes.
Williams tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davidson throws a low kick but Williams moves out of range easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Davidson is taking a breather. Williams says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Davidson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Williams is just riding it out for now. Davidson eventually gives up the hold.

Davidson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Davidson maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Williams could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Davidson has cracked it and Williams is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Davidson!
