The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson wants to clinch but Dominator slips to the side

and Dominator counters with a right hand that sends Thompson tumbling to the canvas! Can Dominator finish him? He dives into Thompson's guard looking to do just that!

It looks like JT Thompson has been cut.
Thompson wants to stand but Dominator is controlling the position.

Thompson looking for a guillotine here but Dominator defends easily.

Thompson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dominator can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Thompson is looking to sweep but instead, Dominator has passed into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dominator passes into side control, despite Thompson's attempt to control the position.

Dominator fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Dominator takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

A very excited looking Mariusz Dominator rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
