Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li fails with an attempt to clinch.
Strap lands a nice shot that snaps Li's head back.
Li wants to clinch up but Strap keeps it at a distance.
Li tries to close the distance and clinch but Strap swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Strap throws a body shot but no joy.
Li lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Strap fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Strap keeps the fight on the outside.
As Li tries to get set, Strap tries to push him back and clinch up but Li manages to avoid the attempt.
Wong Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Strap ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Strap misses with a series of wild punches.
Strap swats away the attempt to clinch by Li.

Li rushes Strap and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Li manages to break the clinch.
Strap throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Li shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Strap has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
