The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Rourke shoots for a double leg takedown but Shamrock sprawls well. He's pushed O Rourke's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Shamrock misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Shamrock throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent O Rourke stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Shamrock misses with a wild body shot.
O Rourke looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Good leg kick by Shamrock there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

O Rourke uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shamrock.

Shamrock turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips O Rourke off and cradles Shamrock's limp body as O Rourke celebrates with his corner.

Peter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rittle doesn't seem bothered though.

Peter closes the distance and pushes Rittle back into the cage.
Peter tries for a takedown but Rittle manages to get underhooks.
Rittle tries to pull guard but Peter won't allow it.

Peter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Peter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rittle pinned against the cage. Rittle gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Peter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rittle tries to avoid it but Peter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rittle to the ground. Rittle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
