And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oleg Ljashko!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palelei fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Ljashko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Palelei was well out of range. Poor timing from Ljashko.
Ljashko tries to clinch up
and Palelei counters with a slapping leg kick.
Palelei throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ljashko stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ljashko looks winded!
Palelei clobbers Ljashko with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Oleg Ljashko has been cut.
Ljashko takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Palelei throws a right and a left that both miss.
A shot to the liver by Palelei. Beautiful body shot.
Palelei is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Ljashko tries to clinch up

and Palelei counters with a beautiful punch that sends Ljashko to the canvas!

Ljashko is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Palelei postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Ljashko covers up, he's hurt! Palelei keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Palelei and the ref steps in to end the fight! Palelei can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Soa Palelei!
