Blade has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Huia finds it's way round the side to connect with Blade's head.
Huia shoots in but no luck this time.
Blade tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Huia manages to circle out of the way.
Blade takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Huia has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Blade is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Huia swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Blade is looking to counter punch.
Huia feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Huia passes Blade's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Huia in particular looking to stall.

Blade knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Huia on the ground.
Let's hope that Huia has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Huia has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Blade's body.

Blade is looking to escape but he's done so without protecting himself and Huia manages to counter with a nice rear naked choke! Blade is in trouble and he's forced to tap!

Palelei fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Ljashko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Palelei was well out of range. Poor timing from Ljashko.

and Palelei counters with a slapping leg kick.
Palelei throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ljashko stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ljashko looks winded!
Palelei clobbers Ljashko with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Oleg Ljashko has been cut.
Ljashko takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Palelei throws a right and a left that both miss.

Palelei is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Palelei postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Ljashko covers up, he's hurt! Palelei keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Palelei and the ref steps in to end the fight! Palelei can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
