The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Wheelock darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Wheelock lands an overhand right.
Wheelock has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Pro Pain Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Wheelock lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A jab lands there for Wheelock.
Handscomb takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Wheelock lands with a good body shot.
Wheelock bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Handscomb's head backwards.

Handscomb is rocked!
Wheelock drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Handscomb's head, knocking him out cold! Wheelock is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bogart shoots in and drives through. Freeman sprawls well.
Nice cross by Freeman.
Freeman stuffs the takedown attempt from Bogart. Bogart gets slowly back to his feet.
Bogart fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Freeman throwing a counter right hand but Bogart manages to avoid it.
Nate Freeman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bjorn Bogart.

Freeman lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bogart takes a step back to recover.
Freeman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Freeman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bogart circles away quickly and effectively.

Bogart tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Freeman swivels and escapes.
Freeman digs a good hook to Bogart's body.

and Bogart counters with a right hand to the body.

and Freeman counters with a nice uppercut.
Bogart gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Bogart tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Freeman is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Bogart buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Bogart!! Bogart is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Freeman throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Sobieski shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stilies manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Stilies is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sobieski is controlling him.
Sobieski postures up in Stilies's guard and throws a big left but Stilies blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stilies wants to stand but Sobieski is controlling the position.
Sobieski chips away with some ground and pound.
Stilies really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sobieski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stilies pushes Sobieski off and scrambles back to his feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Sobieski sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Stilies to the ground! Sobieski dives into full mount looking to finish!

It looks like Gary Stilies has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Ognjen throws a lazy right hand but Out sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ognjen sets himself, and Out steps forward looking for the clinch! Ognjen avoids it this time.
Ognjen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Out sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ognjen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Out.
Out drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ognjen defends it well.
Ognjen has been working on his boxing with his coaches at MMA tranning center /w 160nutrition in the buildup to the fight.
Nikolajs Ognjen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Out takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Ognjen misses with a low kick.

Out changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

and Out counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Out not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Out has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Out is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Out can do anything to dispel that myth.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Out stands up over Ognjen, holding on to his feet. Out throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Ognjen is out cold! Out lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
