The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ken looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Saka is fending him off so far but Ken persists. Nope, Saka circles away and we're back to standing.
As Ken backs off Saka throws a huge counter combo but Ken manages to avoid it all.

Saka closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ken did well to prevent Saka getting side control.
Saka winds up and cracks Ken with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Saka not doing much here.
Ken has a hand on Saka's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Saka takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Saka tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ken swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Saka fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Saka on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ken throws a push kick but Saka slaps the foot to one side.
Ken tries to clinch up but Saka circles away and keeps his distance.

Ken half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Saka bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Saka working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Saka connects with a nice short shot to Ken's temple.
Saka is nestled in close to Ken, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Saka is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ken defends it well.

Saka postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Ken has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Saka is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Saka pushes Ken back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Ken uses his free foot to push down on Saka's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Saka.

Ken swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Saka is now in Ken's guard. A big mistake from Ken there, giving up the dominant position!

I would just about give that final round to Ryuji Saka.
Well Saka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Machnacius looks to move to half guard but instead Trujillo has passed into mount! Damn!
Trujillo manages to capitalize on a mistake by Machnacius to take his back!
Machnacius trying to control the position but Trujillo manages to sink in the hooks.
Trujillo biding his time, looking for the opening.

Trujillo slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Trujillo is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Machnacius has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Trujillo has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Machnacius taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Trujillo doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Leatherton is working to tighten his grip on Graham's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Graham has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Leatherton is really squeezing tight and eventually Graham passes out! Leatherton breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Does seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bronisz for as long as he can get away with.
