We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Maltepe drops his hands momentarily and Monai takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Monai throws a right and a left that Maltepe avoids nicely.

Oh Maltepe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Monai has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Maltepe shoots in looking for a takedown. Monai tries to sprawl out of it but Maltepe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Monai manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Maltepe tries to clinch up but Monai pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Maltepe to the mat! Maltepe covers up and Monai unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

In his post fight interview, Uriiz Monai started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Dennis Maltepe was interviewed post fight and said 'he got the better of me this time nothing to be ashamed of'.
