The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moskavony shoots in and bounces Koko off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Moskavony drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Koko dives on top into guard.

Moskavony utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Koko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Moskavony is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Koko frees his head nicely. Oh but Moskavony has switched to an armbar! Koko is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buttgereit is looking to clinch.
Buttgereit looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hoffman is fending him off so far but Buttgereit persists. Nope, Hoffman circles away and we're back to standing.

Buttgereit feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hoffman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
