7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bruce Dandas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Milan Zoranovic! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zoranovic swats away the attempt to clinch by Dandas. Zoranovic tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Dandas doesn't manage to clinch there - Zoranovic circles away.
Zoranovic avoids a low kick by using good footwork. And Zoranovic tries to counter it with a takedown but Dandas pushes his down on his head and steps out. Zoranovic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dandas tries to avoid it but Zoranovic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dandas to the ground. Dandas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dandas connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dandas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zoranovic pinned against the cage. Zoranovic gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dandas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dandas definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Zoranovic fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Dandas tries to clinch and Zoranovic counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Dandas avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Zoranovic. Dandas wants to control but Zoranovic is keeping busy.
Dandas makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dandas. Dandas throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dandas holds on and takes a little breather. Dandas tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dandas trying to strike off his back.

Dandas is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Dandas controls Zoranovic momentarily but Zoranovic frees himself.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Bruce Dandas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dandas clinches. Dandas is pressed up against the cage. Zoranovic has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dandas down to the mat. Dandas avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Bruce Dandas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Milan Zoranovic. The fight stays on the outside here - Dandas looks like he's thinking about clinching though. And Zoranovic tries to counter it with a takedown but Dandas pushes his down on his head and steps out. Dandas tries to clinch but fails miserably and Zoranovic counters with a nice double leg into guard. Zoranovic throws a big elbow that misses. Dandas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Zoranovic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zoranovic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zoranovic loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Zoranovic stopping the sweep attempt from Dandas. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zoranovic landing with the ground and pound. Zoranovic content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Dandas keeping moving, preventing Zoranovic from controlling successfully. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dandas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dandas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zoranovic gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zoranovic shoots for a takedown but Dandas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dandas will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dandas fails with the takedown. Dandas tests Zoranovic's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Milan Zoranovic has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zoranovic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dandas tries to avoid it but Zoranovic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dandas to the ground. Dandas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Zoranovic just misses with a punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dandas looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Zoranovic! Dandas trying to control the action but Zoranovic is working from the bottom. Dandas working the ground and pound. We've been informed that Zoranovic has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Dandas is looking to take a break and control but Zoranovic is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Milan Zoranovic has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dandas looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dandas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Dandas is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Zoranovic is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Dandas tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Dandas throwing strikes but Zoranovic manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zoranovic is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dandas knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Dandas manages to work his way to half guard, despite Zoranovic's best efforts. Dandas tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Zoranovic has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Dandas wants to hold on but Zoranovic pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Zoranovic landing punches. Zoranovic trying to control but Dandas is having none of it. Dandas tries to hold on but Zoranovic postures up. Zoranovic cracks Dandas with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dandas tries to hold on but Zoranovic pushes him away. Dandas regains half guard. Zoranovic looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dandas with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Milan Zoranovic will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Milan Zoranovic's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Dandas drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Zoranovic manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dandas has Zoranovic in his guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zoranovic can do anything to dispel that myth. Dandas throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Zoranovic works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dandas won't allow Zoranovic to sweep him here. Dandas trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Zoranovic avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dandas trying to stand up but can't free himself from Zoranovic's guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vaccaro closes the distance and clinches. Vaccaro has hold of one of Berisha's legs. Berisha is fighting the takedown attempt but Vaccaro gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Berisha wants to sweep but no luck. Vaccaro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Berisha swivels though and keeps the full guard. Vaccaro is fighting to break Berisha's control of his arms but Berisha is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Vaccaro wants to control from the top but Berisha keeps moving. Berisha controls Vaccaro momentarily but Vaccaro frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Berisha is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Vaccaro lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Berisha bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Vaccaro's guard. Berisha pushes down on Vaccaro's leg and manages to get into half guard. Berisha wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vaccaro keeps working. Vaccaro's coaches at Den of Tears (22 coaches, $425 fee) have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Berisha is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Berisha sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like Berisha might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Vaccaro tries to get to full guard but Berisha has control of the leg. Berisha perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Vaccaro is trying to maintain the position but Berisha is very close to passing his half guard. Berisha blocks the strikes from Vaccaro.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Vaccaro dives in for a single leg takedown but Berisha sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Berisha slaps away a takedown attempt from Vaccaro, before circling back to the center of the mat. Vaccaro gets a clinch. Vaccaro gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Berisha.

Vaccaro looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Berisha puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Vaccaro looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Berisha wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vaccaro keeps working. Berisha works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vaccaro is squirming around, avoiding Berisha's attempts to control the action. Berisha looking to control and managing it successfully. Valdet Berisha has got the better of the ground game so far. Vaccaro has left one of his arms exposed and Berisha doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Vaccaro screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sandov lunges at Joey with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Joey's hand. Joey takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Sandov lands the left hand. Sandov lands with a good body shot. Excellent takedown into side control there by Joey. Sandov wants to control but Joey postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sandov sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Sandov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sandov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sandov tries to get out of the position. Joey stops Sandov from getting back to his feet.
Joey is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sandov defends it well. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sandov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Sandov has Joey pulled in close to control his posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joey trying to control but Sandov is working from the bottom. Joey stops Sandov from standing up. Sandov pushes Joey off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Joey is defended easily by Sandov. A jab from Sandov misses. Joey shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sandov but Sandov pushes him off and we're back to square one. Horrible takedown attempt by Joey or perhaps it was just good defense by Sandov, which made it look bad. Eugene Sandov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fat Joey. Sandov cracks Joey with an open hand slap. Sandov looks to land a combination. Joey sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Joey fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Sandov stuffs the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sandov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Joey. Sandov's corner calls for a 1-2. Sandov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sandov thuds his right hand into Joey's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Sandov scores with a hook. Joey has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Joey is rocked! Joey keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sandov. Joey shoots in for a double leg but Sandov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sandov throwing a counter right hand but Joey manages to avoid it. Sandov lands with a hook. Joey tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Joey is still on wobbly legs! Can Sandov finish him? Sandov jabs Joey to the body, keeping him at a distance. Joey looks winded! Sandov fails to land with a series of punches.
Joey seems to have recovered his senses. Joey walks straight into a right hand from Sandov - that's dropped him! Sandov jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Joey from any more punishment! Joey complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Eugene Sandov! Eugene Sandov bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brock bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Thomas struggling a bit here. Thomas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Thomas tries to buck Brock off but Brock is having none of it. Thomas is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Black Hand Vegas that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Brock has knee on belly and moves into mount. Brock thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Brock avoids the attempt from Thomas to control. Brock is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Thomas can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Ware thuds a left hand into Fatu's body. Ware tries a head kick but it misses.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sobolev takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sobolev takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Vasiliy Sobolev has been cut. Horrible takedown attempt by Serlal or perhaps it was just good defense by Sobolev, which made it look bad. A big left from Sobolev misses. Sobolev cracks Serlal with an open hand slap. Sobolev misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Sobolev shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Serlal counters with a shoot takedown. Sobolev fights it but they end up in guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sobolev looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Serlal is looking to work some ground and pound but Sobolev has wrist control. Serlal throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sobolev works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sobolev looking to sweep here. No luck so far. That was a close round but I would say that Vasiliy Sobolev will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Vasiliy Sobolev's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Serlal moves out of range of the strikes. Sobolev lands a really nice looking cross but Serlal seems unphased.
Sobolev shoots for a takedown but Serlal saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A nice side step and Serlal releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Sobolev tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Serlal defends well and Sobolev ends up having to push Serlal into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Sobolev displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Sobolev stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sobolev wants it to stay on the feet. Sobolev goes for a double leg but Serlal avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Serlal continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vasiliy Sobolev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Serlal throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sobolev on the side of the head. Sobolev fails with the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Serlal fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Serlal will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

enabling Serlal to counter with a crisp jab. Sobolev shoots in looking for a takedown. Serlal tries to sprawl out of it but Sobolev keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Serlal manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sobolev drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Sobolev tries to score a power double leg takedown but Serlal sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sobolev somewhat. Serlal looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Sobolev shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Serlal defends it nicely. Serlal lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Sobolev tries to move into range but Serlal moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sobolev shoots in but Serlal avoids the takedown attempt easily. Serlal lands with a straight right. Sobolev didn't see that one coming. Serlal feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sobolev sprawling to the canvas! Sobolev rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Serlal finish him?!
Sobolev is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Serlal ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Sobolev's jaw. Sobolev's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Serlal does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potz throws a right and a left that both miss. Potz throws a right hand that Yuber ducks under and follows up with a left that Yuber also avoids with ease. Yuber was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Potz rushes Yuber and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Yuber looking for a takedown. Potz creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Potz lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Potz is fighting off a takedown attempt but Yuber is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Potz to the mat. Potz regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Potz can do anything to dispel that myth. Yuber trying to control the position from guard on top but Potz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Yuber is fighting to break Potz 's control of his arms but Potz is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Yuber postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Potz is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Yuber, into his guard. Potz avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. A countering left hand to the body from Potz misses. Yuber sends Potz crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Yuber is motioning to the referee to let Potz up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
That has opened up Craig Potz 's cut even more. Yuber wants to clinch up but Potz keeps it at a distance. Yuber is looking to clinch but Potz is avoiding it.
Potz throws a hook to the side of Yuber's head but Yuber sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Potz lands with a shot to the body. Yuber tries to close the distance and clinch up but Potz swats him away and circles back towards the center. Yuber uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Potz . Potz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Potz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yuber circles away quickly and effectively. A combination from Potz does no damage. Potz keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Potz now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Yuber lands a big right hand that sends Potz crashing to the mat! Yuber stays standing though and waves Potz back to his feet! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A slow jab from Potz misses its intended target. Yuber has his takedown stuffed and Potz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
