McCracken slips an arm under Tyraanicao chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. McCracken has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. McCracken is squeezing on Tyraanicao like an anaconda would it's prey. Tyraanicao fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Commander Shepard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Oliver Heath!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heath fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Heath connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shepard. Shepard circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Shepard keeps the fight on the outside.
Shepard has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
A head kick misses from Shepard.
Donk. Heath catches Shepard right on the button with a cross.
Heath lands a glancing blow to the side of Shepard's head.

Shepard is rocked!
Nice uppercut lands for Heath. That snapped Shepard's head back.
Oh Shepard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A looping hook to the body misses from Heath. Shepard does a little dance to reset his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heath lands a lovely overhand right.
Heath tries to clinch but Shepard is having none of it.
Shepard was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Shepard takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Heath fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Heath keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Heath fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Heath throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Shepard avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Shepard shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Heath closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Shepard did well to prevent Heath getting side control.

Shepard has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Heath is working away from the top position though.

Let's hope that Heath has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Heath wants to advance to full mount but Shepard doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Heath controls Shepard momentarily but Shepard frees himself.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Heath looking for a sweep. Not yet Heath, not yet.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Heath is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Shepard had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Heath misses with a low kick.
Heath uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Heath throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Shepard looks to land a right hand but Heath moved out of range.
Heath moves out of range of the body kick.
Shepard takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Shepard circles away from the clinch attempt.

Heath shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shepard as he avoids it easily.

Commander Shepard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oliver Heath.
Heath lands a jab to the head.
Oliver Heath seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shepard goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Heath has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Heath crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Shepard - the referee stops the clock and Heath gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Shepard. Heath manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Shepard misses with a head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oliver Heath dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Shepard lands a front kick.
Heath tries to close the distance and clinch but Shepard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A lazy left from Heath finds it's target.
Heath fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Heath changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Heath lands a nice shot to the body.
Oliver Heath seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Heath lands a nice shot that snaps Shepard's head back.

Heath looking to score a takedown here. Shepard is defending well but Heath drives through and ends up in Shepard's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Heath is fighting to break Shepard's control of his arms but Shepard is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shepard is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Heath.
Heath connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Shepard keeps the fight on the outside.
Heath shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shepard pinned against the cage. Shepard gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Shepard pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Heath keeps Shepard at a distance using the push kick.
Shepard scores with a nice body kick.
Heath throws a hook but Shepard blocks it.
Heath is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Shepard throws a jab but it's blocked by Heath.

Heath thuds a left hand into Shepard's body.

Heath fails in his attempt to clinch.
Heath scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Heath lands with a nice body punch.
Shepard fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Heath has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Heath takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Commander Shepard is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Heath throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shepard does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Shepard throws a lazy head kick
and Heath counters with a straight right hand.
Shepard gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Heath throws a leg kick but Shepard sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Heath has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Heath fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shepard lands a big head kick that sends Heath to the canvas! Shepard follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Commander Shepard!
After winning the bout, Commander Shepard thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
