I think Khan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Unstoppable. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Yamato lands a glancing blow to the side of Khan 's head.
Yamato moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Yamato throws out a head kick that Khan doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Khan crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Khan 's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Yamato counters with a perfect left hook, dropping Khan to the canvas. He tries to get back up quickly but his equilibrium is all over the place! He's up... he's back down again! There's no need for a count as the referee calls off the bout!

A relieved looking Akihiko Yamato thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Temujin Khan stepped up to the mic, saying 'He's a tough dude man, can't wait to go back to the gym, train and prepare for a rematch to beat him down this time!'.
