And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jayden Rolin!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, John Roberts and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Capone.
Capone definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Rolin throws a combination. Capone tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Rolin scores with a decent looking hook.
Danga de danga de dang - Rolin scores with a four punch combination!
Capone closes the distance and clinches up with Rolin, looking for a takedown. Capone pushes Rolin against the cage but Rolin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rolin has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Capone misses with a looping left.
Capone fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joey Capone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Capone is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rolin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Horrible takedown by Capone or perhaps it was just good defense by Rolin which made him look bad.
Capone tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rolin was well out of range. Poor timing from Capone.
Rolin lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Capone shoots for a takedown but Rolin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Rolin scores with the left hand. Capone knows he should have avoided that one.
Capone tries to bum rush Rolin with a series of wild strikes but Rolin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rolin connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Capone. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Capone is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Capone shoots in for a takedown but Rolin shows good takedown defense.

Rolin connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Rolin weaves into range and cracks Capone right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Capone goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Rolin is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Mahdi checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Brody lands a nice looking body kick.

Brody drives through and clinches with Mahdi against the cage.
Brody misses with a body punch.
Brody lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Saul Mahdi has been cut.
Brody lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Brody misses with a punch to the body.
Brody tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Brody tries to work over Mahdi's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Mahdi takes an elbow to the forehead.
Brody creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Mahdi's defenses.
Brody blocks an uppercut.
Brody lands an elbow inside that Mahdi shrugs off.

That has opened up Saul Mahdi's cut even more.
Brody throws a head punch that misses.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Brody misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Mahdi takes an elbow to the forehead.
Brody tries to throw a body punch but Mahdi avoids it by throwing Brody back against the cage.
Mahdi fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Brody blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Brody lands an elbow inside that Mahdi shrugs off.

The cut above Saul Mahdi's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Mahdi is trying to force a seperation but Brody has the dominant position.
Brody misses with a punch to the body.

Saul Mahdi's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Brody throws a head punch that misses.
A head punch on the inside from Brody fails to land.
Brody lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mahdi backwards.

Brody misses with some punches.
Brody lands an elbow inside that Mahdi shrugs off.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Saul Mahdi's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Townsend shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Papers as he avoids it easily.
Papers definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Papers shoots for a double leg takedown but Townsend sprawls well. He's pushed Papers's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Townsend tries to clinch but Papers is having none of it.

Papers fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Townsend, pushing him back against the cage.
Papers is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Townsend pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Papers is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Townsend is defending well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Money Papers. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Townsend escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Townsend lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Papers backs up against the cage.

It looks like Money Papers has been cut.
Papers shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Townsend sprawls well. Townsend wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Papers gets slowly back to his feet.
Money Papers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rotolo shoots in looking for a takedown but George manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rotolo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Rotolo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Rotolo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
George managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Rotolo.
George tries to buck Rotolo off but Rotolo is having none of it.
Rotolo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
George wants to control but Rotolo postures up.
George knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rotolo on the ground.

George is trying to get back to half guard.
Rotolo throws an elbow but George slips to the side and avoids it well.

Rotolo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but George is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Rotolo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
