Reed is trying to push Marciano away but Marciano has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
I was talking to Reed's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Marciano tries a body shot but Reed blocks it.
Marciano working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Marciano lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Marciano lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Reed backwards.

Reed pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Marciano clips Reed with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Reed a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.
