The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gracie tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Velasquez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Velasquez wants it to stay on the feet.
Velasquez tries to clinch but Gracie is having none of it.
Velasquez tries to clinch up but Gracie circles away and keeps his distance.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Velasquez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Velasquez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Velasquez with a flurry of punches that miss.

Gracie looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Velasquez is defending well. Gracie quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Velasquez has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gracie celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yvel is looking to clinch.
Yvel tries to clinch there but Bekoyan circles away.
Bekoyan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Yvel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bekoyan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bekoyan shoots in but no luck this time.
Yvel tries to clinch but Bekoyan is having none of it.
Bekoyan shoots in but Yvel avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Yvel tries to clinch up but Bekoyan circles away and keeps his distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Bekoyan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Bekoyan drops back looking for a leg! Yvel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Yvel manages to kick Bekoyan off! Bekoyan jumps back into Yvel's guard.

Bekoyan drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Bekoyan as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Yvel screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Bekoyan! Nice submission victory there!

Jay has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Chan finds it's way round the side to connect with Jay's head.
Jay cracks the inside of Chan's front leg.
Jay throws a leg kick which misses Chan's front leg but catches the back leg as Chan tries to avoid it.
Chan throws a head kick that misses.
Chan fails to land with a series of punches.
Jay moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chan moves to clinch but Jay breaks away
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Jay fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Chan.
Jay could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Chan looks winded!

Jay closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jay misses with an elbow strike.
Jay lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Jacky Chan has been cut.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Jay.
Chan wants to stall.
Jay throws an elbow that misses.
Jay throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Jay comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Jay as Chan tries to tie him up.
Jay lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

That has opened up Jacky Chan's cut even more.

Jay lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Jacky Chan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jay lands a big head kick that sends Chan tumbling to the mat! Jay takes a step backwards and waves Chan back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jacky Chan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

and Mihalev holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Pe Descalco jumps guard but Mihalev stands there with Pe Descalco around his waist. Pe Descalco gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Mihalev has his hands on Pe Descalco's head, controlling the position.

Pe Descalco throws a big elbow that misses.

Pe Descalco is fighting to break Mihalev's control of his arms but Mihalev is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Pe Descalco lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Pe Descalco shoots in looking for a takedown but Mihalev manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pe Descalco's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vieira Pe Descalco. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mihalev is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Mihalev wants to pass the guard but Pe Descalco is keeping the position.
Mihalev's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Pe Descalco might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mihalev's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Burak Mihalev has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Mihalev lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Pe Descalco is rocked!

Mihalev dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Pe Descalco has had enough and taps out.
