The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harper feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Blue's calf.
Blue tries to clinch there but Harper circles away.
Patrick Harper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blue takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Blue is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Harper drops Blue with a beautiful combination! Blue stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Harper is looking for the KO!

It looks like James Blue has been cut.
Harper lands a nice hook to Blue's body. Blue takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Harper gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harper tries to move into full mount but can't pass Blue's legs.

Blue is looking to regain half guard here but Harper keeps moving and retains side control.
Harper remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Blue has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Harper.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Harper looks to land a combination. Blue sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Harper is looking to slow Blue down with leg kicks.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Harper.
Blue could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
A slapping leg kick lands for Harper.

Harper rushes Blue and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Harper pushes Blue back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Harper manages to break the clinch.
Harper throws a powerful right kick. Blue tried to block low but the kick was high! Blue was taken right off of his feet! Harper jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Hotsauce takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Swarowski has hold of Hotsauce's hands but Hotsauce slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

It looks like David Swarowski has been cut.
Hotsauce has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Swarowski is looking for a sweep. Hotsauce is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hotsauce is nestled in close to Swarowski, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
